Moodle Quizzes & other Websites

Reading text from a website (such as Moodle quiz/page, online textbooks, articles, etc.)

1. Click on the Read&Write extension icon (purple puzzle piece) to display the toolbar

   • Toolbar will be floating; relocate on the screen as needed

2. Use the mouse/touchpad to highlight the desired text to be read aloud

   • If no text is selected, the extension will start reading at the top of the website

3. Click the play button

4. Click the pause or stop buttons as needed

Repeat steps #2-4 for each additional passage of text, unless "Continuous Reading" setting is enabled for it to keep reading past the initial selected text.

When complete, click on the Read&Write extension icon (purple puzzle piece) to remove the toolbar
